IN VIVO is an international peer-reviewed journal designed to bring together original high quality works and reviews on experimental and clinical biomedical research within the frame of comparative physiology and pathology. The principal aim of IN VIVO is to provide for the prompt publication of accepted articles, generally within 1-2 months from final acceptance.

IN VIVO is published bimonthly. Each annual volume contains six issues and an index. Articles in IN VIVO are regularly indexed in bibliographic services, including PubMed, Index Medicus, MEDLINE, Biological Abstracts, BIOSIS, Chemical Abstracts, Excerpta Medica, CANCER-LIT Database, University of Sheffield Biomedical Information Service (SUBIS), Current Clinical Cancer, AIDS Abstracts, Progress in Paliative Care, Update-Research Information Systems Inc., Inpharma-Reactions Datastar, BRS), Reference Update (I.S.I.), Research Alert (I.S.I.), BioBase, MedBase, Investigational Drugs Database, Sociedad Iberoamericana de Información Cientifica (SIIC) Databases.

The online edition of IN VIVO contains the full text articles and PDFs for each issue. Issues will be placed online approximately on the date they are mailed to subscribers; therefore the online issues may be available prior to receipt of your paper copy. Online readers may want to sign up for the eTOC (electronic Table of Contents) alerting service, which will deliver each new issue's table of contents via email. The web site also provides access to information about the journal and a link to the International Institute of Anticancer Research http://www.iiar-anticancer.org.

Access to the full text of articles will be available by institutional or individual subscription. All other access (e.g., to the home page, tables of contents, yearly indices, book reviews, NCI articles, conference abstracts, Errata and searching) will remain freely available.
