India Quarterly is a forum for informed discussion on international politics, with particular emphasis on India. The journal facilitates an understanding of the complexities of international affairs in a globalizing world where changes have taken place at an extraordinarily fast pace in recent decades.

The Quarterly carries articles on contemporary Indian and world issues with an emphasis on India`s policy-making. Its aim is to encourage scholars, academicians and intellectuals to author original articles which critically and objectively analyse Indian and international issues of contemporary relevance.

Published since 1943 by the Indian Council of World Affairs, India Quarterly is now published by SAGE in association with the Council.
